Inside A New Rivals250 FutureCast For The Florida Gators
The 2023 recruiting class is shaping up to be a special one for the Florida Gators.
With a strong group of commitments already in place, the Gators are now looking to add even more talent to their future roster.
On Tuesday, Rivals released its latest FutureCast for the 2023 class, and it projects the Gators to land four new commitments.
Those players are:
- Shemar Stewart, a 5-star defensive tackle from Lakeland, Florida.
- David Bailey, a 5-star athlete from Lakeland, Florida.
- Jayden McGowan, a 4-star running back from Kissimmee, Florida.
- Joshua Josephs, a 4-star wide receiver from Miami, Florida.
If Florida is able to land all four of these players, it would give them one of the top recruiting classes in the country.
Stewart is the top-ranked defensive tackle in the 2023 class, and he is considered to be one of the best overall prospects in the country.
Bailey is a versatile athlete who can play either wide receiver or defensive back. He is a 5-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 11 overall player in the 2023 class.
McGowan is a 4-star running back who is considered to be one of the best running backs in the 2023 class.
Josephs is a 4-star wide receiver who is considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the 2023 class.
If the Gators are able to land all four of these players, it would give them a great foundation for the future.
