Carlo Acutis: The Young Saint of the Internet

Blessed Carlo Acutis, a teenager who died of leukemia in 2006, could become the first millennial saint after Pope Francis attributed two health miracles to him.

His family still owns a vacation home in Assisi, where his remains are buried, and his mother recently shared details of his life and his unwavering faith.

Pope Francis recognized the second miracle needed for the canonization of Italian Blessed Carlo Acutis, who died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, on May 23, 2024.

Carlo Acutis is often called the patron saint of the internet among Roman Catholics because of his computer skills, which he used to spread the Gospel.
