Facundo Colidio Joins River Plate on Permanent Deal
Former Inter Milan Striker Makes Permanent Switch
FC Internazionale Milano has announced the permanent transfer of Facundo Colidio to River Plate. The Argentine striker has signed a long-term contract with the Buenos Aires club.
Details of the Transfer
According to reports, the transfer fee is believed to be in the region of €6 million, with Inter also entitled to a percentage of any future sale. Colidio had been on loan at River Plate since July 2022, impressing with his performances in the Argentine Primera División.
Colidio's Journey
The 23-year-old joined Inter Milan's youth academy in 2017. He made his senior debut for the club in 2019 and went on to make a handful of appearances. Colidio also represented Argentina at youth level, winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2017.
Colidio has expressed his excitement about the permanent move to River Plate. He said, "This is a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to play for River Plate, and now I'm here to give my all for this great club."
