UEFA Euro 2024: Brand Identity Unveiled
New Look for the Tournament
The brand identity for UEFA EURO 2024 was unveiled at 20:24CEST on Tuesday evening at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.
The new logo and branding for the tournament were developed by a team of designers led by Peter Saville, who has previously worked on the brand identities for the Olympic Games, the Premier League, and Manchester City FC. The logo features the Henri Delaunay Trophy, which is awarded to the winner of the UEFA European Championship. The trophy is depicted in a modern and stylized way, with a focus on the curves and contours of the trophy. The logo is also accompanied by a new typeface, which is inspired by the typography of the 1920s and 1930s. The new branding is intended to reflect the modern and innovative nature of the tournament, while also paying homage to the history of the European Championship. The branding will be used across all aspects of the tournament, including the official website, social media, and merchandise. UEFA EURO 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will feature 24 teams, and will be the first European Championship to be held in Germany since 1988.
