Legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola has finally unveiled the first official teaser for his long-gestating passion project, "Megalopolis." The epic film boasts an all-star cast that includes Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Shia LaBeouf, among others.
Set in an imagined modern America following a devastating disaster, "Megalopolis" tells the story of an architect (Driver) who embarks on an ambitious mission to rebuild New York City. The teaser offers a tantalizing glimpse of the film's stunning visuals and sprawling scale, as well as the intense performances from its cast.
Coppola has described "Megalopolis" as a "Roman Epic fable," and the teaser certainly hints at the film's grand scope and political intrigue. Driver's Caesar Catilina is a charismatic and enigmatic figure, driven by a vision of a transformed city.
