Hardens Flops Durants Dominance Lead To Nets Victory

76ers Fall to Nets in Lopsided Game

Harden's Flops, Durant's Dominance Lead to Nets Victory

April 14, 2024

In a game that was over before it started, the Philadelphia 76ers were thoroughly outplayed by the Brooklyn Nets, losing by a score of 107-86. James Harden's flops and Kevin Durant's dominance were too much for the Sixers to overcome.

Durant led the way for the Nets with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. He was unstoppable from the field, shooting 12-of-19. Harden added 22 points, but his performance was marred by his constant flopping. The Sixers were whistled for 10 fouls on Harden, who spent much of the night on the free throw line.

The Nets' defense was also impressive. They held the Sixers to just 37.1% shooting from the field and 29.6% from three-point range. The Sixers were never able to get into a rhythm offensively and were forced to settle for difficult shots.

The loss is a major setback for the Sixers, who are now 3.5 games behind the Nets in the Eastern Conference standings. The Nets, meanwhile, are now tied with the Boston Celtics for the No. 2 seed in the East.
